DCI Unveils The Faces Of The Bloodthirsty Gang Behind Nakuru Killings

The nightmare Nakuru residents have been facing especially women is finally coming to an end after the Director of Criminal Investigation (DCI) team have managed to unveil the gang behind the heinous act. It has been an operation that took the DCI several weeks, running forensic examination and documentation to come up with details of six gang members who were behind the murders recorded in Nakuru North in the last few weeks.

The operation was conducted by a team drawn from the elite Crime and Investigation Bureau in support of Special Service Unit. The mastermind of the gang Evans Michori Kibwaro was arrested in Keroka, Kisii County and led the detectives to the rest of the members in Nakuru City, Kivumbini area.

The five accomplices of Kebwaro were, Julius Otieno, 27, Josphat Simiyu, 24, Dennis Nmbolo, 25, Isaac Kinyanjui, 18 and Makokha Wanjala, 25.

The gang members were caught unaware in the wee hours of the morning when the hardened detectives pounced on them in their mud house from all openings of the house. They took time to respond to the surprise and got confused with the only option remaining was to surrender.

The six will be facing murder charges and have been arrested awaiting their arraignment in court to answer to the charges.
