Inspector General of Police Hon Japheth Koome has now responded to a City Tycoon who was captured earlier threatening to report his employees to President William Ruto after they demanded to be paid their hard-earned money.
Through a statement seen by Kenyans. co. ke, IG Koome said while it is not bad to be a friend of the head of state, nobody in the nation can be given space to threaten and harrass other Kenyans while adding that he has dispatched a contingent of police officers to investigate and eventually arrest the Tycoon.
Also, IG Koome noted that the Tycoon will face serious legal consequences should the investigate find that he refused to pay of his employees.
“The National Police Service has noted a distasteful video clip circulating on social media showing a man alleged to be the owner of Rixxos Lounge in Kitengela threatening a female employee demanding her unpaid salary.
"In accordance with our mandate to serve and protect all citizens, we have commenced our investigation into the matter," read the statement in part.
