List Of Areas In Kenya Expected To Experience Rainfall From 26th To 30th June You Should Know

The Kenya Meteorological Department has send early warnings on the changing weather patterns to the public about rains that will be experienced from 26th to 30th June 2021. According to the forecast, occasional light to moderate rainfall is expected over various parts of the country. Below are some parts of the country that shall be affected.

1.The Highlands East of the Rift Valley including Nairobi County, Nyandarua, Laikipia, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Muranga, Kiambu, Meru, Embu, Tharaka and Nairobi Counties. These areas shall experience cool and cloudy conditions throughout the forecast period. The mornings are likely to experience cloudy conditions breaking into sunny intervals with light rains mostly in the high ground areas while the nights will experience showers over a few places with maximum temperatures of 24C and minimum temperatures of 7C.

2.2.The Lake Victoria Basin, the Highlands West of the Rift Valley, Central and South Rift Valley, Siaya, Kisumu, Homa Bay, Migori, Kisii, Nyamira, Trans Nzoia, Baringo, Uasin Gishu, Elgeyo Marakwet, Nandi, Nakuru, Narok, Kericho, Bomet, Kakamega, Bungoma and Busia Counties. These areas shall experience morning rains accompanied by sunny intervals are expected in the above areas. Afternoon showers and thunderstorms are also expected over a few places and the nights are to be partly cloudy with some showers over a few places during the forecast period.
