CITIZEN TV's "Silaha Mtaani" Video Elicits Heated Debate After Robert Alai Said This [VIDEO]

Following yesterday’s release of a video dubbed “Silaha Mtaani" by Kenya's televised channel, Citizen Television, which was aimed at uncovering the dark secrets linking criminals and Kenya’s some of Security officers and which involved lending of police guns, uniforms and even bullets on agreed amount, many Kenyans have since been left mouth wide opened on their safety.

The report was released after a one year of thorough investigations on the rot going on in the Country, after the report revealed how the criminals ganged up to cause devastation to the Kenyans.

A Kenyan Controversial blogger, Robert Alai has however bashed the revelation saying that, there’s no instance when a journalist has been directed to protect and shield criminals who have confessed to killing dozens. He is of the argument that police face many challenges which must not be used as excuses by the journalists.

The video which was released by Purity Mwambia reveals how she undertook the lion’s task to obtaining an AK 47 gun, Ceska gun, bullets and police uniforms.

[Nowhere in journalism training have you been directed to protect and shield criminals who have confessed to killing dozens. NOWHERE!! Fools use that stupid argument. Let's not use police-bashing as a sport. Our police have challenges, can't be faced by insincere journalism] Robert Alai

Robert Alai’s tweet have since rose a much heated debate, with most of the Kenyans applauded the heroic investigations by the journalists, towards uncovering the real truths behind the scenes. One user, Harmony [@HarmonyPeterMu] says,

[FACTS from #SilahaMitaani. If it took Purity Mwambia one whole year to get one gun, one ceska, 10 bullets, a pair of handcuffs & 2 police uniforms therefore it MEANS it's very hard to get those things in Kenya's police stations, not as easy as we think. It took her ONE YEAR] Harmony|Twitter.

Below are some of the other Kenyans reactions to Alai’s tweet.
