While confirming the incident, TransNzoia County police commander Jecinta Wesonga told Nation the woman rushed to the kitchen, picked a knife and tried to stab their child forcing her husband to block her.

Unfortunately, she ended up stabbing her husband on the chest. Ms Wesonga has appealed to Kenyans to find alternative ways to solve their problems instead of using violence. The man's body is being held at Kitale County Referral Hospital mortuary pending postmortem and investigations.
