The wife of the murdered Bamburi millionaire businessman has recanted her statement days after making another one at the Bamburi Police Station. The shocking killing of the Dutchman happened at his high end luxurious apartment where he shared it with his wife who is now being treated as a suspect.
According to Kenyans.co.ke digital news platform, Riziki Cherono is said to have changed her statement after the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) tabled new evidence that tied her to her involvement in an attempted cover up. The detectives managed to unravel events that happened during the ill fated night where assailants are alleged to have broke into the residence an killed him in a gruesome manner.
Riziki was allegedly put in her car and taken fore a distance before she claimed that she was later strapped to her car's steering wheel where she was found by police on patrol. Detectives have been trying to unravel the mysterious events that led to the killing of the Dutchman with Riziki his wife being a person of interest.
