According to the Ministry, the following was said during a number of security meetings held near the borders of Isiolo and the neighboring counties of Marsabit and Meru: "The Cabinet Secretary said the NPRs will strengthen the effort to combat cattle rustling and banditry, which have been pervasive in the region.
The sessions were also attended by a number of national dignitaries, including Guyo, the governor of Isiolo."
