A grisly road accident at the Southern bypass has left a trail of destruction.
According to police officers, One person died after a vehicle rolled several times before hitting an electric pole killing the driver of the car on the spot on Sunday night.
Witnesses on the scene claim they suspect the driver of the doomed car was drunk.
Onboard the car were 4 other men who survived the accident but with serious injuries.
The four survivors, aged between 21 and 28 years, were rushed to Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) for treatment as the body of the deceased was moved to the morgue awaiting identification.
Police say the driver of the car, now deceased lost control of the car at Ngong' interchange. Over speeding has also been mentioned as the possible cause of the car loosing control.
Kenyans who reacted to the accident raised concerns on the rising road carnages at the Southern Bypass.
