A prime suspect in the murder of a Laikipia University Female Student has died.
The deceased sustained injuries which included a deep cut on the throat and another one on the stomach.Koech succumbed to injuries he sustained in a mob beating after stabbing Getrude chepkoech to death on Wednesday September 29.
The deceased woman l, chepkoech was a first year female student and roommate to Koech's girlfriend at Peka hostels.She was pursuing a bachelor's degree in English and literature.
One witness said that Koech had visited his girlfriend at hostel but never found her.She was in school sitting for her exams.Koech rather found chepkoech and they got in an heated argument.She was screaming calling him an intruder.Koech left and later came back armed with a knife on Wednesday and stabbed the lady.So sad!
