Emotions run high at Lorukoti as form four student, Ltampesi Leaburia who was sprayed with bullets by bandits is buried.
According to the information shared by Samburu West MP Naisula Lesuuda, the pain of the lose of the young girl in the hands of the armed bandits was evident amongst the family members together with the community.

She has reiterated that lives cannot continue to be cut short by the shameless bandits.
"Today, we buried Ltampesi Leaburia form four class of 2022 at Lorukoti who was killed last week. The pain amongst the family members, community was too much. Lives cannot continue to be cut short by shameless bandits. Dreams and hopes shattered."
The attack was carried out by bandits who shot the form four girl together with her sister, a class seven pupil while they were herding their family livestock.
The attackers then drove away the animals after killing the young girls. The incident prompted the CS Interior Kithure Kindiki to go to the area to ease the growing tension after the attack.
