Deputy President William Ruto has received a huge blow with his wheelbarrow and hustler nation narrative after mount Kenya Region youth leader said that they cannot cop up with the ancient equipment and rather,needs good jobs.
She said that one of the biggest problems mount Kenya Region youths are witnessing is the consumption of illicit brew which has made the male youths in the area to be very lazy and useless.
"I am Nkirote from tharaka nithi county and I must say that the biggest problem we are facing as a Region Is the high rate of alcohol consumption. The consumption of the illicit brew which may sometimes lead to blindness has made the youths in the region lazy and useless. I am not yet married because I have not seen an able man from the Region,this is because all the others existing are deep into the use of illegal brew," she said.
Nkirote also touched on youth leadership,she asked the leaders present at the meeting to hold the hands of the youth and teach them the ways on how to be good leaders rather than asking for experience. She also said that economic expansion is the biggest problem which has caused the National disaster I'd youth unemployment.
"I want to say that the youths are also suffering from high rates of unemployment. This is caused by the low economic expansion in the country which has led to thousands of young graduates to lack jobs and sit at home doing nothing," she said.
Speaking today at the mount Kenya Region foundation Meeting with the one Kenya alliance chiefs,Youth leader Nkirote from tharaka nithi county in mount Kenya Region said that the youths will not be used cheaply this time round and asked the youths to wake up and make a Change.
"As I conclude I want to say that for us youths,the issue of wheelbarrows is a no. Aki hapana. We cannot manage to push them. And I want to promise that we will not be cheaply used this time round," she said.
