Today in the evening, the DCI Kenya through their Official facebook page came out to share the photos of Mr George Kinoti vacating his office as the director of DCI. On their post, DCI said that Mr Kinoti walked out after handing over to Dr Masa who will now be the acting DCI boss following Kinoti's resignation.
Kinoti who is the 11th DCI boss is said to have served this country for 30 years where he joined the police service in the year 1992 as a police constable. He later on got some promotions becoming the country's top detective. Due to his good work, he was appointed by Uhuru Kenyattta as the DCI director where he served for four years and eight months.
"The 11th Director of Criminal Investigations George Kinoti, has this morning handed over office to the new acting Director General Dr Hamisi Masa. This follows his resignation a few days ago as announced by His Excellency President William Ruto, after serving the country for 30 years. As he exits from office, Mr Kinoti leaves a farewell message to Kenyans and fellow detectives." Said the DCI Kenya.
