Kenyans received the news of the death of the first attorney general of Kenya in the social media platforms with great shock.
Former attorney general hon Charles Njonjo who is the only surviving member of the cabinet of the independent kenya was reported to have died from old age related complications.

Message of condolences started streaming to the family of the duke of Kabeteshire emediately the netizens received the fake news.
However in a news sent to the news room this morning, hon Charles Njonjo has denied the fake news of his death. He said that, " I am well enjoying my weekend."
The politician who at once was the head of public prosecution has termed the news as great exaggeration since he was well with his family enjoying their long weekend.
Njonjo who is over a hundred years old is an iconic leader who served the country with diligence. Apologies to Charles Njonjo and his his family, hoping the one who came up with this fake news will face the wrath of law.
