Alcohol consumption can destroy the health of a child by interfering with the development of vital body organs such as the brain, bones, liver, and hormones. It can lead to problems that most of us do not expect. Alcohol interferes with the functionality of the central nervous system and leads to low blood sugar, which leads to seizures and comas, which can be fatal to children.
Yesterday, Kenyans did not hold their anger after the former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko shared a post on Twitter of a child enjoying hard alcohol as the parents cheered.

"This should be reported to authorities; this man should be charged for violation of children's rights," were the reactions flooding the comment section. Some were calling upon the DCI and the Department of Children's Services to come out and rescue the poor kid.

It is the responsibility of every parent to raise their children in a healthy way to avoid future frequent hospital visits and problems arising from drug abuse. Leave your comment below concerning this matter.
