His Facebook post.
According to his post, a young man whose name remains unknown was today caught by the members of the public as he tried to snatch a phone from an innocent civilian while in a traffic jam.
Reportedly the middle-aged man used his BodaBoda as a means of escaping the Crime scene. Unfortunately, today was his 40th day, as he was caught and roughed up by the civilians. Many young men are using BodaBoda as means of employment to enable them to meet their ends meet but to this guy, it's vice versa.
Similar incidents have happened in some parts of Nairobi, whereby thugs who pose as BodaBoda riders normally go around stealing from people.
Some of them are usually armed with weapons and can hurt you whenever you try to fight them back.
To avoid such always use your phone in a private or a safe place. Don't trust any stranger who tries to befriend.
