'Use Alternatives Methods, There No Condoms' The Ministry Of Health Tells Citizens.

The government of Kenya through the ministry of health has decried a shortage of condoms in Kenya urging it's citizens to resort to other measures to protect themselves. The ailling docket which has been riddled by scandals has come out of the closet,revealing that the country was short of close to fifty million protective rubbers.

The representatives from the health ministry led by Chief administrative secretary Dr Mwangangi has said that the shortage locking the nation has been brought about by high taxes which are enforced on the commodity hence forcing the donors to divert the items to other nations.

However the health officials have asked the masses to result to other protective methods such as use of female condoms and contraceptives. It is understood that female condoms are plenty in all public health facilities.

Aids Healthcare Foundation country director Samuel Kinyanjui expressed his worries over the shortage citing that the last shipment of the commodity was made in 2019.
