According to the available reliable reports that we have with us from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations official social media handle, a police recruit has been dismissed from the training college.

Trouble is said to have started for the conscript who has been identified as Imbenzi Paul, after he failed to collect the litter as instructed by his Squad Instructor, during last Friday’s morning fatigue.

A brief argument is them said to have ensued before the suspect reached for the crucial course man’s implement which is normally used in clearing long grass and inflicted an injury on the squad leader’s head.

The recruit has been dismissed from the institution with immediate effect as per the reports that we have with us this evening.

He has also been slapped with a charge of assault on the squad leader who is nursing his injuries at the infirmary at the police training college in Kiganjo.
