Accidents on the Kenyan highways have been on the rise in the recent past with the government asking motorists to always be careful to avoid such accidents.

Over the last few months, many people have lost their lives on the road while millions of shillings have been lost in damages and delays caused by traffic jams from these accidents.
This morning, hundreds are inconvenienced on the busy Thika-Garissa Highway as traffic has been brought to a halt.
Police are understood to be on the two sites where accidents have been reported on the busy road this morning.

An accident has been reported at Kanyonyoo on the highway but no casualties are there with the injured being rushed to the hospital.
Another accident is said to have happened between Kithimani and Sofia on the busy highway a few moments ago.
Cause of the accidents is yet unknown but hundreds are said to be stuck on the highway as Police clear the mess.
