Students across the country have been involving themselves in some terrible things, with some of them leaving their loved ones in pain and sufferings.
Residents of Kiaheho village in Murang’a County have been left in shock after a young form three girl took away her life by hanging herself on the roof of the house she used to live with her grandmother.
According to K24 digital news reports, the body of Lucy Waithira was found dangling from the roof a few days after she posted on her Facebook page about he death.
Confirming the unfortunate news, Hanna Wanjiru the area assistant chief stated that the reason to why the form three girl decided to kill herself might be because of issues she had in her relationship.
"There was a time she slept out and when the grandmother asked her about it, she became defiant. However, she also posted on Facebook that 1st December will be day she will take the last breath on earth." The assistant chief stated.
The principal to the school the deceased was studying expressed her condolences as she stated: "We are shocked because we had not seen such a thing coming as the girl was very obedient and had no disciplinary issues.
We are hoping to get more information from the family of what could have transpired leading the girl to take away her life."
May she rest in peace.
