The deceased identified as Azaria Gordon, 45, is said to have checked at the woman’s house on Sunday morning before the unfortunate incident happened.
The youthful woman identified as Jane Ongwati, who is now treated as the key suspect in her murder told the police that the pastor has been coming in her house on several occasions.
"The pastor has been coming here often when am there or when am at work. Besides being my church pastor, she is also my close friend and that is why he proffered coming to my house severally," Jane said.
The pastor's lifeless body was found lying in the floor of the woman's kitchen with his mouth frothing with foamy saliva.
During the melee, a story was heard that it is the same house that a youthful man was beaten to death by unknown men for allegedly sharing a bed with the woman.
It is reported that the body of the deceased had no visible marks, as police now believe he might have been poisoned.
"We will find out the root cause of his death after conducting autopsy. We can't unravel it for now," one of the police officers' said.
The body of the deceased was transferred to Chiromo hospital morgue for postmortem and preservation.
The woman is being held at Huruma police station.
