The Director of Criminal Investigations[DCI] homicide based in Juja sub-county, Kiambu County have managed to arrest a 38 year old man named Evans Karani over allegations of killing his girlfriend Catherine Nyokabi.
The body of the deceased was earlier on found damped in Witeitheie Bob Harris Ndarugo road near the railway line behind the famous Mang'u High School on Wednesday this week. The evidence gathered by the DCI have made it possible to track down the accused as he is the number one suspect in this matter.
Karani has already confessed about torturing and brutally killing his side lover over love conflicts. He was even on a mission to dump the body but his car got stuck in the mud at the scene of the crime. He is currently being held at Juja police station awaiting to be charged with the said crime after his arrest went on successfully.
Instances of lovers killing their partners have gone high and hence there is a good reason for a proper examination as well research to be carried out to find out the route cause of this evil. Strict laws and rules should be implemented so that whoever engages in such crimes is held properly accountable to make sure this comes to an end in the near future.
