[VIDEO] Kenyan Woman Allegedly Goes Mad Few Months After Arriving in Saudi Arabia

A screen grab of Laurine

A Kenyan woman in Saudi Arabia has gone mad few months after arriving in the country. Laurine Isendi Ogude had moved to the gulf country in March after securing employment there.

In a minute-long video shared by human rights activist Nelson Muriuki, the woman is seen shouting some words in Arabic while trying to make her way through the window while her roommates are trying frantically to restrain her.

Laurine was ejected by her employer after she started behaving weirdly. She was later transferred to 'office' - where the agencies are located and also acts as home to those who are not in employment.

Such cases of Kenyan women going through mistreatment and depression are on high and this prompted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to write to the National Assembly of Kenya to temporarily ban Kenyans from travelling to the Gulf country.

However, this is yet to be implemented as more and more Kenyans are said to be on transit each passing day.
