In a candid interview with Inooro TV's Simon Kibe, Dan revealed that he was introduced to the illegal business by his friend. It was lucrative. He built a decent home for his family in Mwea and even bought dairy cows.
On the fateful day when he was arrested, his friend got angry at him for failing to pay his debt and reported him to the assistant chief. Dan ended up in jail after being arrested by the police rolling bhang.
After several months in jail, he told his family members in Mwea to stop visiting him in prison since they were using a lot of money on transport costs yet they were only allowed two minutes to speak to him.
Dan says jail life has been hard and urges youths in illegal businesses to stop so as to avoid ending up like him.
