Pair In Trouble After Failed Attempt To Bribe KDF Officers

Two individuals have been arrested with over Sh500,000 attempting to lure KDF recruitment officials. 

Samuel Ongeri and Josphine Osebe got arrested at Borabu sub province on Wednesday at 8:30 am. 

As indicated by a police report, the two were captured after they were found at security checks at Menyenye SDA essential ground inside Nyamira region.

Ongeri was found with Sh206,000 while Osebe was found with Sh 302,000. 

On interviewing them, it was found that both their children were denied opportunities to partake in the enlistment process. 

It was additionally settled that they needed to utilize the cash to bribe the officials. 

"Their children were given over to the common police in Bureti police headquarters," the report read. 

Kenya Defense Forces on February 7, publicized a mass enrollment practice focusing on General Service Unit (GSU) cadets, expert officials, and constables. 

The enrollment started on Monday, February 8. KDF distributed a record itemizing rules and documentations. 

Up-and-comers are relied upon to be at the recruitment places in order to have a better chance at securing the jobs.
