Popular Journalist Over The Moon as Driver Delivers Money and Phone That He Forgot in a Cab

A cab driver identified as Blessed Bena displayed a commendable sign of honesty after returning 90,000 Kenyan shillings and a phone worth 100,000 shillings which had been left inside his cab by BBC journalist Tony Irungu.

Bena shared the news on a cab drivers Facebook group where he stated that after noticing his client had left the phone and cash behind, he immediately texted him.

They made arrangements for him to deliver the cash and phone during his free time.

After getting his cash and phone, excited journalist Tony shared the good news on Twitter stating that we still have good Kenyans. He hilariously laughed at the comments on the post.

The honest gesture came months after a super metro conductor safely kept 200,000 Kenyan shillings for a female passenger who had forgotten it in the bus.

Drivers and conductors are always advised to display such honesty so as to make Kenya a better place.
