Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has shared a video online of a boy beating his own mother outside the Mombasa Children's court to rescue his sister. The parents must have divorced and the children's court decided that the lady would take the girl and the man will take care of the boy.
But the children didnot want to stay with the mother because of unknown reason. The mother could be seen dragging the girl from inside the court building and forcing her to board the Tuktuk parked outside.
The girl was crying since she didnot want to go with the mother and to be separated from his brother. The brother tried to fight for his sister's freedom by beating the mother and her friend but it was effortless. His father didnot help because he could be seen walking with crutches.
Citizens around the area could not do anything but to look. At last the girl got a chance to sneak from the mother and they ran together back to the building where there father was with brother.
Mike Sonko hinted that behavior from some of the mothers contribute to such incident where kids don't want to stay them. Netizens said that the court should always let the kids choose whom they want to stay with because this is mistreatment.
