Olympic slain Champion Agnes Tirop has been Finally laid to rest at her parents rural home at Iten, Eldoret Uasin Gishu county. Agnes was reported dead one week ago after she was stabbed to death by her husband due to family wrangles allegations.
Her husband was later on arrested by detectives in Mombasa as he was trying to escape to a neighboring country Tanzania. He is expected to be taken to court to face charges against the murder of Tirop.
Tirop's funeral was full of crowd whereby many Kenyans came in large numbers to give her their last respects. Many athletes including politicians attended that burial ceremony.
Kenyans on social media have sparked mixed reactions concerning Tirop's death whereby some section of Kenyans have condemned that Incident and wants her husband to face more charges for what he did.
