Prepare For Heavy Rainfall In The Next 7 Days If You Live In The Specified Counties

October saw heavy rains in different parts of the country as Kenya's meteorological department worked hard to provide weather updates. The Meteorological Service is responsible for providing meteorological and climatological information accessible to the general public by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO).

The Kenya Meteorological Department has been successful in providing timely warnings of expected weather changes in some areas through the establishment of an efficient telecommunications system for the rapid collection and dissemination of weather information. It has improved scientific knowledge among the people.
