The Police force is very important for the good operation of the society. Without them, law and order would not be maintained and people would just live like animals.
However, as much as these men in uniform do their best to protect us, they themselves live in absolute poverty. Their lives are worse than a common mwananchi who is unemployed. From poor housing to little pay, this law enforcers have seen it all.
In line with this subject, some few hours ago, a photo was posted on Nairobi crime free facebook page that has really got many Kenyans talking. The photo, is a sad image of a police officer eating rice from a spade, instead of a plate. The photo sparked emotions, and many commented about it.
It is not clear who the police officer is, or what his intentions were while taking the photo. He may either be suffering or chasing clout. However, most people praised these officers for sacrifising a good life for our sakes. Share your thoughts about this matter with me below.
