Father of 7 year Old Who Was 'Risking' Driving Alone Slapped With a Heavy Fine

Ayub Kinyanjui, the father of 7 year old boy who was caught on camera driving himself has been slapped with heavy fine. Ayub will have to spend three months on jail or pay a fine of ksh. 20,000 for allowing his son to drive without a driving license. The judge has issued the ruling on him after he was arrested in Murang'a yesterday. The Kenyans law doesn't allow any minor below the age of 18 years old to drive.

Kenyans reacted after the arrest of Ayub. Some of the social media users claimed that he should have allowed the child to grow to allow him drive. They argued that the child is little knowledge about the road traffic rules and thus risking his life and life of other road users.

A portion of the social media uses have argued that the child can help save the father incase he is sick or suffers in a way that he cannot drive. The viral video of the minor driving himself caught the attention of many on the social media. .
