Father, daughter killed in a Fatal road accident along machakos kangundo road, mother in trauma in Nairobi County
The three family members, who were travelling in a Subaru vehicle, who were involved in a road accident were heading home in when the accident happened.
Kangundo road traffic police officer Jack Okwama who confirmed the incident told the press the driver of the personal car, a Subaru model, was moving at a high speed when he lost control of the car and hit a rail at the opposite side of the road.
The police boss said the Monday evening accident claimed two lives, father and her daughter.
He added that the motorvehicle was badly damage as a result of the impact between the rail and the vehicle.
A witness identified as Simon Owino who spoke to the press asked motorists to remain humble while cruising along the busy road.
"It is very Important for the living to be humble. You do not know the hour you will leave this earth or in what manner you will exit. Always be careful on that stretch. People cruise over 120 kmh. So sad. may their souls rest in Peace," Simon said.
Jack said the bodies were transferred to Kangundo Level 5 Hospital morgue while wreckage of the vehicle was towed to Matungulu police station.
He added police had launched investigations into the incident.
