A woman is on the run after she attacked 2 police officers who were enforcing a curfew in Langata area. The incident which has sparked outrage and panic to the safety of police officers happened past the requisite time while the two officers were enforcing the 10 to 4 night curfew restrictions.
According to a report on the 'The Kenya Police' Facebook page, Senior Sergeant Moses of Langata police station together with his junior officer Constable John Chege were attacked by the yet to be identified woman who later escaped while on routine patrol. From the report, Moses is said to have stopped the woman and demanded to know where she was coming from past the curfew hours.
In the ensuing events, the woman is said to have turned violent and jumped at the officers before he also descended on Moses and chewed off his ear. The officer is said to have rushed to Nairobi West Hospital for emergency treatment and a surgical procedure to attach back the ear. The culprit is still at large as a search is launched.
