NTSA has shared a morning message concerning the purpose served by the seat belts. According to the report shared through social media platforms, the seat belt is primary safety equipment placed on all cars. Therefore they help in restraining passengers from being thrown out of vehicle during an impact.
According to the report shared by NTSA, seat belts have evolved to become the most critical safety gadgets in the the car.
There have been more deaths from road accidents this year compared to similar period last year. A survey by the National Transport and Safety Authority, NTSA revealed there was increase of 25 per cent in road fatalities as September 20, 2021.
Reckless driving, dangerous overtaking, drunk driving, drunk walking, drunk driving, failure to use helmets among other issues have been attributed to the increase in crashes.
"The life you save will be your own. Seat belts reduce crash related injuries and deaths." NTSA reveals.
