During the World's AIDS Day that is on Wednesday, the head of the state President Uhuru Kenyatta made a speech addressing the nation on issues concerning HIV and AIDS. In his speech, he addressed Kenyans and warned older men to stop sleeping with young girls. President Uhuru addressed this as one of the issues leading to increased HIV rates and early pregnancies.
President Uhuru went on and said that it's very shameful hearing their children cry out because of the filthy behaviours of the older men. The president said that he did not understand how a man would be walking with head held high after doing shameful things to a girl of age or younger than their daughter. He added that it's not children that are destroying themselves outside here but rather, the older men.
The president urged the society to take this matter seriously and expose those men that are caught doing such behaviours with young girls as this would shame them and make them change. He also advised those women with such husbands to expose them so as to curtail such behaviours. He added that these young children are the future therefore, urged the older men to protect them as they would also be protecting their future.
