Deputy president William Ruto has offered a sigh of relief to the prostitutes drawn from Mtito Andei after he made a move that will see them hope for a better and respectful activities in the near future.
While speaking in Mtito Andei DP Ruto has instructed prostitutes in the area to organize themselves into a SACCO where he will be able to channel 1 million shillings to help them get into legit businesses at the expense of working as prostitutes.
This is a good move that the second-in-command has ever made because unlike many others this will work towards encouraging thinking mindsets that will see more prostitutes alter the paths to become wonderful business people and perhaps reputable ones in the society.
This comes barely two days after Deputy President William Ruto was heckled in Busia County where he had gone to look for support in a bid to secure a top seat in the incoming 2022 general elections.
