Government Bans Preaching, Hawking And Begging In Matatus.

Friday, 6th August 2021, Nairobi Kenya.

On Friday, the government under the ministry of transporting announced new measures that will govern the matatu industry in the country including resumption of carrying passengers at full capacity.

In the new raft of measures that we're announced by the tansport Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) Chris Obure, the Government had banned preaching, begging and hawking in the Public Service Vehicles (PSV) in the country.

The CAS also announced that the matatu operators will have to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government for sureity that they will comply with the new measures.
