A middle-aged man is currently receiving medical treatment in one of the hospitals within Baringo after a deadly domestic violence that led to the death of his girlfriend whom he reportedly stabbed several times before he tried to kill himself.
According to the reports given by the witnesses or rather locals from Baringo, the suspect is reported to have been heard arguing with the deceased moments before everything went silent.
However, suspicion came in after the deceased was heard screaming before the noise died down, this was followed by a dramatic scene after the neighbors rushed to the crime scene only to find the two bleeding profusely.
They were both rushed to the nearest hospital in a move to try and save them where further reports revealed that the deceased died moments after getting to the hospital while the suspect was immediately admitted to the ICU.
According to the reports given by the police officers who were alerted by one of the neighbors, they claimed that the deceased had been stabbed more than 20 times in a move which was meant to kill her.
However, despite the fact that they don't know the motive or reasons why the two argued, they revealed that they are currently waiting for the suspect to get well in order for him to give his statement which will help in their investigations.
The body of the deceased was also taken to the mortuary awaiting an autopsy which would reveal the cause of the woman's death as well as give more details about her death.
