Kenya Power Lightening Company has announce message to all Kenyan who are connected to national grid system that some of the areas will face power blackout tomorrow 29th for the purpose of network maintenance.
This announcement made by Kenya Power help resident of the effected area to find an alternative source of power in running their business. The most affected people are those that cannot run business without power for instance Salon, Berber shop and many other.
This act however gives Kenya power a smooth time in maintaining the grid without the fear of receiving electric shock since the line transmitting electricity in that phase has been switched off.
The company is however in the race towards digitalizing the system so as to minimize electricity blackout that causes huge losses to the business owners since they have to look for an alternative source of power which tends to be costly compared to electricity.
Kenya Power through their verified twitter account announced places that will face power blackout on Wednesday 29 for the purposes of network maintenance.
