Former Kamukunji OCS Chief Inspector Samir Adhumab Yunus was arrested by Detectives from the Internal Affairs Unit (IAU) no Monday, 5th December 2022 after accusations from juniors that he had sexually assaulted them.
After the arrest, Yunus was released on a cash bail of ksh 10,000.
Yunus appeared before Milimani law courts on today, 7th December 2022 . He was charged of raping a police officer three years ago.
This charges come after female officers from both Dandora police station abd Kamukunji police station revealed that Yunus was using his position to assault them sexually.

It is so bad that a senior person in any given institution uses his power to assault juniors sexually. We condemn this act and hope for immediate action and justice served to those Affected.
