Ghanaians pay last tribute for Christian Atsu as he is laid to rest

Christian Atsu died in a recent earthquake that hit Turkey and Syria a month ago.The Ghanaian winger played for English Premier league sides Chelsea, Newcastle and Turkish side Hatalyaspor before his untimely death.

Many people attended his burial including the president of Ghanaians performed the last tradition to send him off in a colourful way despite the sorrows. The burial was attended by many former national team players who played alongside him.He represented Ghana in the African cup of nations in 2019.

Atsu died after scoring for his team a winning goal through a free kick. According to his wife,the talented winger was a kind man full of life and generosity. His demise left his wife and two kids in sorrowful moments as they struggle to believe it.On the fateful day,Atsu had planned uo travel to England where his family resides but cjose to stay in Turkey before the earthquake took his life. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
