Three people were on Saturday morning killed while seven others sustained injuries after a trailer and matatu collided head-on at Ngata Bridge, Nakuru.Confirming the incident, Nakuru West OCPD Edward Ogware told Citizen Digital that the trailer, which was en route to Nakuru, veered off its lane before ramming the 14-seater matatu that was heading to Eldoret.The incident occurred at around 6:30am with eye witnesses reporting that the trailer's driver fled the scene immediately afterward.The students from the Rift Valley Institute of Agriculture and Technology were passengers in a Matatu that was traveling from Nakuru city to Rongai Constituency.
One of the survivors has however been admitted to the hospital with a fractured arm.
