There happened a grisly road accident at Kaiti along Machakos- Wote highway last night.Whereby a personal vehicle that was headed to Wote town lost control, rolled several times and rammed on a truck from behind. One person was rescued with major injuries ,and taken to Makueni county referral hospital which is in Wote town for specialized treatment with the said county ambulance.
The vehicle involved, was pulled and taken to Kaiti police station as investigation continues.
This accident was confirmed by Makueni police commander, Mohammed Maalim, who has warned drivers against breaking road safety rules.Maalim has also advised drivers to take their vehicles for inspection and maintenance so that, the issues of mechanical problems can be dealt with earlier.
I also want to urge the officers from NTSA,to ensure that all roads are passable and that, every vehicle using the highways is roadworthy.
I wish the victim a quick recovery. My reader, what is your take on this? Kindly leave a comment.
