According to news hitting the air waves just now, several people are feared dead after they were trapped inside quarry caves at Nyabigena Village in South Mugirango constituency, Kisii County.
CitizenTVKe has revealed that one of the people has been rescued with authorities yet to reveal if he was arrive or not.
Currently, fire fighters, and locals have thronged the area with rescues using all they can to save and possibly recover bodies.
The sad incident comes barely Months after another six people were trapped inside a mine in the neighboring County.
Sadly several of those trapped died with rescuers yet to recover one of the miner who was left trapped inside the mine.
Locals have been warned not to risk their lives as some of these mines are extremely dangerous and could cave in anytime.
The current rains have also contributed to these terrible landslides and collapse of caves making it hard for all miners around the country.
