The Kenya Meteorological Department has been working tirelessly to issue timely information about the weather changes to prepare individuals from dangers, to save their lives, to help in utilisation of natural resources and so on.

On some occasions people living in some areas have experienced flooding that led to their displacement and restricted some businesses hence affecting the economy. With timely information individuals and organisations can help themselves overcome such scenarios.[Photo|courtesy]

The Kenya Meteorological Department manages to rapidly spread such information through the development of efficient telecommunication systems. Working hand in hand with the ministry of Environment and Forestry it has issued information through the website for the next seven days until 5th of July.[Photo|courtesy]
