Prepare For Heavy Rains in the Next Five Days if You Live in The Following Counties

Weatherman has warned of rainfall over some parts of the country. Those residing in the affected counties are expected to be on the outlook.

According to the issued information, most parts of the country are likely to be sunny and dry. However occasional rainfall is expected in the Coastal strip, South Eastern Lowlands and North Eastern Kenya.

Strong south-easterly winds of more than 25knots (12m/s) expected over parts of Turkana and Marsabit Counties.

DETAILED REGIONAL FORECAST FOR THE PERIOD

The Lake Victoria Basin, the Highlands West of the Rift Valley and the Central and South Rift Valley Regions. Morning, afternoon and evening showers are likely to occur during the first day of the forecast period. The rest of the days are expected to be sunny and nights partly cloudy.

Northwestern Regions. Sunny intervals are likely to prevail and nights are expected to be partly cloudy.

Highlands East of the Rift Valley including Nairobi County. Days are likely to be sunny and nights partly cloudy with occasional morning, afternoon and evening showers over fews places during the first day of the forecast period.

The Northeastern Regions. Days are expected to be sunny and nights partly cloudy. Occasional rains are however expected over few places during the second half of the forecast period.

The South Eastern Lowlands Regions. Sunny conditions are expected to prevail with occasional rains over few places throughout the period.

The Coastal Regions. Chances of showers are expected over few places, otherwise some places are likely to experience sunny conditions and partly cloudy conditions at night.
