Following the most recent action taken by Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, Kenyans have responded in a variety of ways.
This is after the former Mathira MP sent off a Safaricom paybill and account number as he begged Kenyans to give money to help Kenyans who are facing drought.
A few Kenyans have welcomed this move naming it as a demonstration of caring while other have blamed this move by Gachagua as they promised not to contribute even a penny.
Since the Kenyans for Kenya Initiative (K4K) was launched by the Red Cross in 2014, this is not the first time Kenyans have been asked to help others.
The reason was still the fight against drought at a Safari Park event where all television stations came together.
The goal, which had been set at ten million dollars, was met in just three weeks when Kenyans raised a total of eleven million dollars, or ksh 1.3 billion.
