JUST IN: Nyandarua County Assembly Gold Mace Reportedly Stolen

Reports have emerged that the Nyandarua County Assembly Gold mace has been stolen by unknown individuals on Saturday 1st May after the first attempt to steal the same mace backfired on 23rd February.

According to the reports shares by the head of state president Uhuru Kenyatta's trusted blogger Councillor Njohi, Nyandarua county Assembly Golden mace has gone missing and as it has been alleged that a group of unknown individuals raided the County Assembly and escaped with the Golden Mace.

"BREAKING.. Nyandarua County Assembly Mace stolen. Any information leading to the recovery of the mace will be highly appreciated" Councillor Njohi wrote.

"Official Nyandarua County Assembly Gold mace stolen. The fight continues" Alex Muraguri shared the information in NYANDARUA BUNGE LA MWANANCHI Facebook group.

"BREAKING NEWS; Nyandarua County Assembly Golden mace stolen.." Ouma Allan posted on Facebook

Stealing the Speaker's mace will derail the County Assembly's proceedings since its absence in the chamber will render the house ungovernable and the MCAs cannot meet to pass law, or debate on anything.

This comes barely two months after a group of men wearing black suits raided the Nyandarua county Assembly on February 23rd afternoon with the intention of stealing the speaker's mace.

According to reports, there was a fistfight between two factions of the impeached Speaker Ndegwa and Nyandarua county boss Francis Kimemia as MCAs in Ndegwa's camp termed his (Ndegwa) impeachment as unconstitutional, a move that reinstated him hiring the alleged men in black.
