The late president Daniel Arap Moi’s grandson Collins Toroitich has been sued by his baby mama Gladys Jeruto Tagi for allegedly abandoning her and his children.
Jeruto accused Moi’s grandson of neglecting their two children of age nine and eleven.
Through her lawyer David Mongeri, Jeruto demanded for KSh 1 million from Toroitich to cater for parental responsibilities.
Jeruto opened up before magistrate Benjamin Limo that Toroitich left her and the kids over eight years ago.
She told the court that she has been struggling to ensure the kids have food, education among other basic need all alone noting that she does not have a stable income.
“I am currently unable to provide for the children alone as the needs are so many and would need to be assisted,” she said.
The family however agreed to settle the matter out of court.
