Locals of Kabarnet town in Eldoret were treated to a bizarre spectacle after a student from one of the secondary schools in the area allegedly drunk himself to a stupor and caused commotion, just hours after breaking for holidays.
A source present at the scene narrated to us how the teenage student headed straight to one of the joints in the town where he got himself intoxicated.
The source further revealed that the young man was in company of friends, probably his school mates when they headed to the joint, but they all vanished into thin air after liquor took toll of his head, literally driving him nuts.
It took combined efforts from the town duelers and bodaboda riders to subdue the unruly student who was bundled on one of the bodaboda and was whisked away.
Schools have been closed for the October holidays across the country. It is now a duty of parents to take care of their children during this period.
This will help them in guaranteeing that they don’t draw themselves in any inappropriate practices, for example, participating in any early s3xual practices, drugs, and substances abuse.
