Six-gang men are on search after gelding a family into hostage in nigh-ling robbery.The six men also managed to escape with valuables worth hundreds of thousands.
The six men visited the home at 9pm whereby they injured the man of the house while tying the other members of the family.
“After inflicting life-threatening injuries on the man of the house, the marauding gang then tied up the wife, daughter and three grandchildren aged between 10 and three, alongside their house help,” DCI said.
The six men had all the time to ransack the house which they did for over 9 hours.They managed to escape away with a HP laptop, fridge,mortar, bicycle,four mobile phone,three gas cylinders and other valuable.
“The gang transferred Ksh80, 000 from the daughter’s Mpesa account, and another Ksh 61,800 from her bank account. Satisfied with their kill and loaded the items into the family’s Nissan,” DCI reports.
The family reported that the six men used a van to escape at 5:45am.The family reported the matter to the Bahati police station where investigation are ongoing.
